Whether you are looking for short or
long time rentals, Barcelona is not a cheap
city when it comes to accommodation. On
average the rent per square meter is 13.70
Euros per month. The most charming yet also
the most expensive place to rent a flat is
the old town, la Cuitat Vella, where the
square meter costs 15.80 Euros on average.
If you are renting a room in a shared flat
caculate roughly 350 Euros per month for a
single room with window and bills included.
Hostels you find plenty in the city and many
are situated in the city center. The price
drops to 15 Euros if you sleep in a 10-bed
dorm and goes up to 35 Euros for a double
room.
